of Chicago together with New York and Houston, is hosting the 10th
Anniversary of Knanaya Catholic Yuvajanavedhi of North America. The
anniversary will be on September 5th Sunday (Long
weekend) at 5.30PM at St. Mary's Knanaya Catholic Church, Morton Grove,
IL. Youth members from Chicago, Detroit, New York, Dallas and Houston
will be participating in the ceremony and the proceeding cultural show,
AIKYAM 2010. The program will start with anniversary special youth mass. In addition, as a part of celebrating the 100th anniversary of Kottayam Arch Diocese, Yuvajanavedhi of Chicago is organizing a Vehicle Rally on September 5th, Sunday at 10AM. The Rally begins from Community center. After KCS executive flags off the cars, rally will proceed to Sacred Heart Church, where the rally will be received by Fr. Abraham Mutholath and the Trustees of Maywood Church. A flag of our diocese will be raised and Centennial anniversary prayer will be held. Then the rally will proceed to the Knanaya cemetery where prayers will be done for our beloved ones with candles and flowers and then get back to May-wood church for lunch. After the lunch the rally will move to Morton Grove Church for the 5.30pm mass where the rally will received by Priests, Morton Grove Church Trustees and members. The Rally will have the Cut-outs of Knai thomman, Mar Mathew Makil, Mar Alexander Chulaparambil, Mar Thomas Tharayil and Poothathil Thommi Achan in open Vehicles. We encourage you to participate in this great event and join us to celebrate our Diocese's anniversary.
