The 1st event for the year will kick start on Saturday 12th March ’11.
The KCYL Leadership Camp & Picnic will start at Performing Arts
Theatre, Hillcrest Christian College, 500 Soldiers Road, Clyde North,
Victoria (Gate No.3) at 10.00am. Please keep the day free as the event
will end at Lysterfield Park at around 4 PM. A briefing will be given
on the day’s event at the theatre sharp at 10AM.

The day will begin with an hour’s talk by Dr. Daniel Pampuch,
Principal, Hillcrest Christian College. Dr. Daniel is a Team leader of
150 teachers and 1500 Students for 3 Year Kinder to Year 12. Dr.
Daniel is young and dynamic individual he’s real team builder and
deals with around 1500 Hillcrest community families. He became
Principal at the age of 32 mainly because of his leadership skills. We
think he’s the best person to kick start the event mainly he’s a
Christian college principle which is the backbone of KYL. His key
topic will be “Importance of Youth Living in Christian Faith” and
“Leadership Qualities”.

As mentioned KCYL members need to be singles between 13-30 yrs of age.
All children between 13-18 yrs need to get the signature from their
parents and people from 18 and above need to self attest the attached
form with necessary details. No children will be accepted as part of
the trip if the forms are not signed. This form is 1 off and will be
used for future tours unless parents send in writing to withdraw their
kids from KYL.

We’ll have 3 pickup points in western suburbs and 2 from south east
(details provided latter) and will be driven to the Hillcrest
Christian College. We request parents to volunteer if they can provide
a certificate to “Working with Children”. A week prior to the event
we’ll issue all relevant contact details and days plan to the parents
of all participating children.

So please fill the attached form and send it with your children with
signature or hand it over to the committee member on the day.

Parents who wish to send their children for KYL leadership camp may
reply to this mail or contact one of the committee members before 28th
of this month in order to organize the transport and other
arrangements.

As you all are aware the KYL leadership camp in on Saturday 12th Mar.
The schedule for the day is as follows:

1.        9.15am (SouthMorang & Heidelberg) and 9.30am (clayton)
Depart from the pickup points to Hillcrest Christian College, 500
Soldiers Road, Clyde North, Victoria (Gate No.3)
2.        10am to 11.30am – Speech by Dr.Daniel Pampuch on “Importance
of Youth Living in Christian Faith & Leadership qualities”
3.        11.30am to 1pm – Team Building Activities
4.        1pm to 2pm – BBQ Lunch for children
5.        2pm to 3pm – A class on Knanaya Values and Traditions,
Importance of youth networking, what we learned from morning session
by professional teachers & self-introduction
6.        3pm to 4pm – Election of Knanaya Youth Leaders
7.        4pm – finish with a prayer.
8.        Parents can pick their kids by 5pm from the respective pick up point.

We have allocated 3 pickup points for parents to pick & drop their

The trip is free of cost hence a kid doesn’t have to carry any money.
Children should be responsible of their valuables. A smart casual is
