St. Mary's Parish Youth Ministry is going to Visit Homeless Shelter.

Chicago: St. Mary's Knanaya Parish, as announced in previously,our youth Ministry is participating in a volunteer service in a homeless shelter/ soup kitchen on the North side of Chicago. All  the youth from St. Mary's Parish who are in 8th grade & up are expected to participate in this unique experience. The youth who are below 18 years old need to have a signed " volunteer Release & Waiver of Liability" form by the parent/guardian with them to allow to participate in the event.(This form had been provided to the youth on last Sunday; down load from attachment if forms are needed ). Information about this volunteer service is as follows:

Date: February 12th Saturday  
Time at shelter: 11 am - 1:30 pm

Dress code: weather appropriate dress- may get dirty.

Lunch: please bring $ 5 .00 each for LUNCH MONEY

The youth and parent volunteers are to come to the Morton Grove church  on Saturday the 12th, prior to 10:30 am , (bus will leave at 10:30 am)TRANSPORTATION HAS BEEN ARRANGED; WE DO NOT NEED TO CARPOOL.  We are expecting to be back at the Morton Grove church by 2 pm; thereafter , lunch and a short discussion about the event. The youth could be picked up by 3:00 pm.
